  1. The Elizabeth von Arnim Afternoon at Lucy Cavendish College sounds wonderful. I would love to attend, but sadly, that will not be possible for me this year. It has been a privilege for me to have attended the first E von Arnim conference at Cambridge and the combined Elizabeth and Katherine Mansfield Conference in California last year. I am so pleased that scholarly work is ongoing about Elizabeth and her work. It has been my feeling since discovering Elizabeth’s work in the 1980’s that she was much more important than has been allotted her in literary history. I will continue to pay dues to the society and hope that much more will be written to stir interest in Elizabeth’s works.

  2. Hello Carol,

I hope all is well & thank you for this post.

We missed you at the July event at Lucy Cavendish College, but understand a trip from the US is not always possible.

Next year there will be an EvA conference in Toulon that might interest you. Look out for details.

Thank you for your continued support!

    Every good wish,
    Isobel
