The Elizabeth von Arnim Society regrets that we have had to cancel our event planned for June 2020. The event was to have brought Professor Carolyn Oulton (Canterbury Christ Church University) and Jennifer Walker (Independent scholar and author of Elizabeth of the German Garden—a Literary Journey) for to discuss von Arnim’s Victorian legacy and the summer of 1920 when von Arnim hosted a number of literary gatherings at her home in Switzerland, the Chalet Soleil. Registration fees have been refunded. We hope to schedule another lively event soon, and we wish you all the best of health in this challenging time.
