Radio BBC4 is featuring Elizabeth von Arnim’s 1920 novel In the Mountains, read by Ruth Gemmellin, in five episodes 31 May-4 June 2021. Set in post WWI Switzerland, the novel “is a hymn to the restorative powers of nature, landscape and companionship.”
